BUS to D.C.

United for Peace and Justice is calling for a mass mobilization against the War and Occupation of Iraq in Washington DC on Saturday January 27th. There will be 3 busses going down from Vermont - one from Burlington, one from Montpelier, and one from Middlebury/Rutland.

The busses will leave VT late on Friday night, get us into DC in time for the march and rally, leaving DC in the late evening. We will arrive back in VT early Sunday morning. If you join us on the bus, you will not need any overnight accommodations in DC. And all busses will run on biofuel.

Central Vermont Peace and Justice has booked a 57 seat bus which will pick folks up in Middlebury and Rutland on late Friday night, January 26th, returning us to the same locations early Sunday morning, January 28th (exact times and locations to be determined). The cost for each seat is $70 per seat, with scholarships available and donations gratefully accepted to support scholarships.

Please add a note with your check indicating the names and phone numbers of the riders. When I receive your information I will put you on the “reserved” list. Only once I receive your check will you be on the “confirmed” list.

Seats will be sold on a first come first served basis. Please email me your intentions prior to sending a check so that I can put your name on the list.
