Central Vermont Peace and Justice organized a bus which drove 57 people to the historic demonstration against the war on Iraq on September 24th. Here are some photos and commentary by some of those from our bus.

"One impression I wanted to share is that so many people commented on our being from Vermont. They'd see the t-shirt, then say "Yeah Vermont!" or something like it. Made me feel proud to be participating from a state that, while not wholly united against the war by any means, at least has a pretty shining reputation for standing tall for peace and justice and environment.

And we helped !"
