Demonstration to Protest the 3rd Anniversary

of the War Against Iraq

This demonstration is being organized by Central Vermont Peace

and Justice and Green Mountain College's Club Activism. It is

being supported by the statewide Vermont Says No to War coalition

and is being called as the anniversary demonstration for the

entire state. People from all corners of the state will be coming

to Rutland to stand in solidarity against the war and occupation.

Let's turn out in huge numbers to show our community and state

that people of peace are the active and vocal majority!

The theme of the demonstration is The True Costs of War. Students

from Green Mountain College will be making a large banner and

signs that address these costs (lives lost, money wasted, civil

liberties lost, depleted uranium poisoning, etc). We encourage

everyone to come with signs and banners that also address these

costs.
