The mainstream media reports, and many Americans believe, that the Israeli occupation of Palestine is working and eventually the Palestinians will have to agree to a two-state solution. Is this true? How do we learn more about this important world crisis? Howard Taylor was in Hebron and other parts of the West Bank last summer as part of a Christian Peacemaker Team delegation. He comes to Rutland to describe his experiences and explain his view of the Israeli occupation of Palestine. Howard will provide a description of the Hebron occupation, and how and why he believes it is failing. He will give an overview of the Christian Peacemaker Team, and explain the work they do in Hebron. He will share his experiences, offer his impressions, and help us become more informed and involved in this critical global situation.

Howard will also be giving the sermon at the Rutland UU Church, West Street, Rutland, on Sunday April 16th. Services begin at 10:30 am and all are welcome.
