Maintain a progressive calendar of events for the Rutland Area activist community.

Central Vermont Peace and Justice recognizes that there are many progressive groups in the Rutland area that host meetings, workshops and other events. To support these groups and the greater Rutland area activist community, we offer our on-line calendar as a centralized calendar for all progressive events. By maintaining one calendar, it is our hope that the progressive community will be better able to organize the scheduling of events in our small community.

If your group would like to post your events on this centralized calendar, please contact Carol at info@centralvermontpeace.org

Alliances with statewide and national peace and justice organizations

Central Vermont Peace and Justice is just one small part of the overall peace and justice community in Vermont, nationally and internationally. We seek to develop alliances with groups and individuals who share our belief that a better world is possible and our quest for peaceful and just solutions to the problems we all face. These alliances can take on many forms - co-sponsor events, support campaigns and initiatives, spearhead statewide initiatives, participate in demonstrations.

For an example of a statewide campaign you can get involved with, please follow the link to the Lawn Sign Revolution located on our home page and on our Cool Stuff to Buy page.

If your group would like to discuss with CVPJ how we can work together on an event or campaign, please contact info@centralvermontpeace.org
