I am Dianna and I am eager to serve as one of the new youth coordinators. We have a vision to get the youth together an define what is important to them. As this process continues, ideally we will take what matters to our youth and get active with what they come up with. I'm excited about this opportunity because what our youth does effects our world and this holds validity to everyone's future!

From Matt Kimball

My name is Matthew Kimball. I'm a senior communications major at Castleton State College and I'm thrilled to work as a youth organizer for the Student Peace Alliance of Rutland County. Awareness and activism to promote ideas of peace and justice has become a major discourse in my life and has helped me to improve myself.

I believe the youth of Rutland County deserve to have their voices heard, as they will become our future leaders. A political and social consciousness at a young age will allow youth to make informed and educated decisions to better their communities.

Its my intention to give youth the means with which to facilitate and organize their collective consciousness in order to have a profound impact on their future. I hope that SPARC will be successful in reaching out to youth of all backgrounds and creeds. Its my hope to unite us all based on our common interests and to cherish each other for what sets us apart.
